Parking for Disabled Students
If you are a student or staff member and park on campus using a state-issued disabled persons placard, you are required to purchase a UF disabled persons parking decal. You must display BOTH (state-issued and university) disabled placards on your vehicle to avoid citation. If you have a mobility-related disability, you may be eligible for special parking accommodations by purchasing a UF disabled persons decal.
In order to qualify to purchase a disabled persons decal, all applicants must bring the following documents to UF Transportation and Parking Services for review:
- 1. Copy of driver's license
- 2. Copy of state-issued disabled persons placard
- 3. Copy of state-issued registration sheet for disabled persons placard
This review is required of all staff and students desiring access to disabled parking in all campus lots and garages – including those with a reserved disabled parking space. The application process is a one-time event with automatic approval for decal renewal in subsequent years. If you have any questions, please call 352-392-2241.
