General Parking
Though you are strongly discouraged from driving to campus, students who want to park their car on campus must have a parking decal. Decal enforcement is 7:30 am – 4:30 pm weekdays on main campus and 7:30 am – 3:30 pm weekdays around the law school. You can purchase a decal at UF Transportation and Parking Services located on Gale Lemerand Drive on the main campus. The cost of a decal for a single car for one semester is $55.00. You will need your vehicle registration to purchase a decal.
The law school has more parking spaces assigned to it than any other college in the university. Nevertheless, parking can be difficult. All vehicles parked on campus must obey UF's Parking Rules and Regulations.
Motorcycle/ Scooter
A valid UF motorcycle decal is required to park a motorcycle or scooter on campus. All individuals operating a motorcycle or scooter on campus must abide by UF parking rules and regulations and park in Motorcycle/Scooter assigned parking area. All members of the UF community are eligible to purchase a motorcycle/scooter decal. An annual decal costs $36 and a semester decal costs $18.
Where Can I Park?
A valid UF parking
decal allows the holder to utilize the
parking facilities for its designated area
(eg. Green, Orange, Red, etc.), parking facilities
marked "All Decal" and other restricted areas.
It is important to note that a parking
decal does not guarantee the holder a parking space. To find the parking areas near
the law school see the UF parking maps.
Park and Ride
Everyone holding a UF parking decal is encouraged to familiarize
themselves with the parking facilities designated "All
Decal" at the Cultural Plaza (Harn Museum, Center for
Performing Arts), in the unpaved lot on Bledsoe Dr. and
adjacent to the UF Hotel and Conference Center. These "All
Decal" facilities (meaning anybody with a valid UF
decal may park) are commonly referred to as "Park and
Ride" due to the shuttle service running from these
facilities to the core of campus (visit the Regional Transit System for campus bus routes and
scheduling information).
