2010 Project Spotlight
Clinic projects in 2010 were more diverse than ever before. This year’s projects included the creation of a citizen’s guide to the Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement environmental submission process and the development of environmental law clinics in the Brazilian Amazon. Other projects included working with NGOs to assess the enforcement of sea turtle laws in Costa Rica, to analyze the regulation of highly migratory species in the wider Caribbean, and to assess the potential for implementing a program to pay landowners for the critical environmental services provided by wetlands in Costa Rica.
