Guest Speakers

Presentation on Using RICO to Prosecute Criminal Street Gangs in Florida:
This presentation was a collaboration between CJC and the Statewide Prosecutor’s office.  The presentation was held in February 2012 and was made by Assistant Statewide Prosecutors Sasha Lohn-McDermott and Daniel Wiseman, both UF alumni.

Speaker on Innocence:
In April 2012, CJC and the Center for Race Studies collaborated to invite Mr. Alan Crotzer, an individual who was exonerated after 24years in prison based on DNA testing.

Class Enrichment – Panel Speakers:
Three local attorneys were invited to the White Collar Crime class in spring 2012.  They formed a panel to discuss white collar criminal defense.  This was a great and rewarding experience for the students.
