Q. How much does a mediation session with C.R.I. cost?

A. Receiving mediation from C.R.I. is 100 % free.

Q. Where are the mediations conducted?

A. Mediations will be held at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Q. Will there be a record of my mediation?

A. C.R.I. will keep a brief file regarding your mediation that will be kept completely confidential and will not be disclosed under any circumstances. There will not be a court or police record created as a result of your mediation.

Q. Who will be conducting my mediation?

A. Your mediation session will be conducted by University of Florida Levin College of Law students who have completed the official training provided by the Dispute Resolution Center of the Florida Supreme Court.

Q. Why should I choose mediation as opposed to formal litigation?

A. Our mediation services are preferable to formal litigation for many reasons. First, your case will be handled with the same mediation process that many small claims cases typically end in. You can save yourself time, frustration, and avoid costly court filing and attorney fees all while receiving the same mediation for free!

Q. What will be the result of my mediation?

A. During the mediation process our professionally trained law students will explore thoroughly what each party to the dispute is seeking. We use a low stress and effective method of letting each person express their concerns. Through this process we make it easier for everyone to come to an amicable agreement.
