International & Comparative Law

Message from the Dean

Many of our economic, social and legal relationships today are affected by or are a product of globalization. Decisions made in far-flung places around the world impact actions taken here in the United States. This global interdependence is obvious in the corporate world, where policies, decisions and transactions have enormous impact on society, the economy, government and other areas — from human rights to environmental concerns.

During this time of increased globalization, American law schools have the challenge and responsibility of teaching International Law as well as teaching international aspects of every area of the law.

The Levin College of Law’s comprehensive offerings help prepare students for practice in this new global legal environment, and we welcome your involvement.
