Finding a Place to Live

As a true college-town, Gainesville follows a predictable movement of residents. There are plenty of rental units in the Gainesville area and close to campus. Prices of rental units vary to match its amenities. We encourage you to live close to campus.

The University of Florida Housing Department has various apartment complexes on campus for graduate students and students with families. These apartments vary from one to two bedrooms as well as flat and town-house units. Contact the Housing Department through their Website or call them at 352-392-2161. They will mail you information on housing and an application form. In addition, The Continuum, a graduate community in partnership with the University of Florida Department of Housing and Residence Education, opened in Fall 2011.

The City of Gainesville
