Q. On what basis
does UF Law accept transfer students?
A. Students must be attending
a law school accredited by the American Bar Association
(ABA). Students'
academic rank should be in the upper third of their
class or higher after completion of the required
first-year curriculum.
Q. How many credits may I transfer?
A. American Bar Association
limits allow UF Law to accept up to 29 credit hours.
Q. What are the requirements
for visiting students?
A. Students must have completed
two years of study at a law school accredited by
the American Bar Association. Students must also be in good academic standing
at their current institution, be eligible to return
to that school, and have permission from their current law school to visit at UF Law.
Q. For transfer and visiting
students, what should be completed by the application
deadline?
A. 1. All application materials
must be in by the completion date.
2. All grades must be available for review from your
institution.
3. As with other applicants, transfer and visiting
students must register with Law School Data Assembly
Service (LSDAS).

of admission?

Q. What are the conditions
for international students?
A. 1. Any applicant whose
native language is not English must take the Test
of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). 2. International applicants
also must register with LSDAS, and must register
for the LSAT through LSDAS. 3. Your foreign grades will need to
be evaluated by LSDAS -- see Admissions Procedures at http://www.law.ufl.edu/admissions.
