What have past participants said about the program?
“The information provided and candid opinions have already proven invaluable to my discernment; they solidified my desire to apply to Levin next fall. Of the events last Saturday, the following two were my favorite: First was Mr. Henry's mock class. Although a bit less dramatic, it reminded me of a scene from Scott Turow's One L. The other notable event was the guided tour by my mentor. She was wonderful, and I know—as I already have—I’ll be taking advantage of her offer to communicate in the future. Again, thank you for a great program.” – Junior, Southern Illinois at Carbondale
“The Roadmap workshop this weekend was great. I really enjoyed it...especially the Mock Class part! My mentor was very helpful and she is coming to talk to our pre-law club next semester. Thanks again.” – Junior, UF
“I enjoyed the fact that Dean Robert Jerry was so assuring of UF LAW! Everything he said made me feel more confident in applying to this particular law school. I am going to be honest, yes I planned on applying to UF law school but, was not sure if I wanted it. Now I do! The fact that he enjoys being a part of UF Law and is very proud of it makes me more determined than before to give it my all when applying to UF Law.” – Junior, UF
“THANK YOU! for putting together the Road Map to Law School. I received so much helpful information and my mentor answered lots of my personal questions that I may not have been likely to ask in a large group setting. I appreciate the small group forum we had and the mock tort class was interesting to see how a person would go about dissecting a real court case. I’m so excited that I will be applying to UF Law School next year and hope to see you on the day of Orientation. Thanks again.” -Junior, UF
“I wanted to thank-you for holding the Road Map to Law School for students, like me, who are interested in going to law school. I thought that you, the students, and the speakers did a great job of presenting information to us. My two favorite parts were the student panel and the mentors because that’s when we can let our guards down and talk to people, who were once in our shoes, about what it REALLY is like to go through the process of applying and what to expect when you’re accepted. Great job, really!” -Junior, UF
“The panel of law students was different in my view compared to the other law related events that I have been to in the past. The majority of the panel of law students at this program came from different areas in the country. This made realize the diversity and opportunities UF has for its students. I truly love that in a school!” Junior, UF
