Admissions
Accepting an Offer
We are delighted that you have selected the University of Florida for your legal education. In order to secure your seat in the Fall 2010 entering class, you should submit your signed enrollment form and your $200 deposit by the close of business on May 15, 2010.
You may submit your deposit online or you may mail in your deposit and your enrollment form. The online deposit system will be available in January.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Levin College of Law this fall!
Deferring an Offer
Joint degree candidates who have been admitted to both programs, and accepted and confirmed Teach for America candidates, are permitted to defer admission offers from the Levin College of Law. This process requires that a formal petition be filed with the Admissions Office, and be approved prior to the May 15 seat deposit payment deadline. Non-joint degree admittees seeking a deferral for compelling reasons will have their petitions evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Candidates who have questions regarding the deferral process should contact the Admissions Office and ask to speak with a member of the professional staff.
Declining an Offer
Admitted candidates who have decided to decline their Law offer of admission are strongly encouraged to notify the Office of Admissions as soon as possible. To decline an offer of admission, please complete the online form.
