Visiting UF Law

The best way to experience UF Law is to visit. We welcome prospective and admitted students to visit our campus. Visiting when classes are in session gives you a better understanding of academic life at the Levin College of Law. To plan your visit at a time when classes are in session, please consult the Academic Calendar.

Law School Tours

Tours of UF Law facilities are provided on a daily basis Monday-Friday when classes are in session. (They are not available during holiday or term breaks.) Summer tours are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer academic term. Times are limited to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each day, and must be scheduled in advance. For additional information and reservations, contact the Admissions Office at 352-273-0890 or toll-free at 877-429-1297.

Directions to Campus for Tours

Tours are conducted by our Student Recruitment Team. The Student Recruitment Team (SRT) is a select group of UF Law students who serve as volunteer hosts for our campus visitors. This dynamic group of first-, second- and third-year students comes from across the nation. They graduated from a wide variety of institutions with many undergraduate majors, and have diverse interests in law. Members of the SRT are qualified to answer questions ranging from the application process to campus life, and are eager to share about their experiences as a UF Law student.

Attend Law Classes

A variety of first-year and upper-class courses are open to prospective and admitted students during the academic year, and we invite you to attend a sampling of subjects at the Levin College of Law.  In order to schedule a class visit please contact the Office of Admissions at 352-273-0890 or toll-free at 877-429-1297. On the day of the visit, you will need to stop by the Admissions Office to be escorted to the classroom and introduced to the professor teaching the class. Please do not enter a class after it has begun, or exit while a class is in session.

The Admissions Office is open between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. The class visits are available at a variety of times - Download Class Visitation Schedule [65KB PDF]. Please be aware that visits may be scheduled while classes are in session during the regular semester. Confirm the beginning and ending dates of the semester with our Academic Calendar.

On-Campus Visitation for Groups

UF Law offers a special Campus Visit Program for large groups. Visitors will be able to attend law classes, tour the law school, meet and interact with current students, and attend an admissions presentation. During the presentation, an Admissions Officer will discuss the admissions process, our faculty and curriculum, and special programs. We require that you contact the Office of Admissions in advance to set up a group campus visit.
