Public Sector Giving

Public Sector Giving Program
Objective
To encourage Gators working for State Attorney and Public Defender Offices, and other public sector employers, to achieve 100% participation in the Annual Fund, demonstrating leadership in supporting UF law students, faculty and programs. The Annual Fund provides for quality, affordable legal education by covering expenses not met with state funds, tuition or endowment income. The Fund supports student research assistantships, student organizations, faculty teaching and research, career services for students and alumni, outreach programs, and much more.
Overview
Each office will have an alumnus coordinating the program. There is no minimum contribution, and gifts may be unrestricted to the Annual Fund, or restricted to any area or student organization at the college. Dean Robert Jerry asks alumni to consider giving back in an amount equivalent to just one billable hour each year. Note: Payments on active pledges to the law school (ex., Building Campaign, Book Award sponsorships) count toward the 100% participation goal.
Recognition
Offices that achieve 100% participation will be recognized in law school publications, news releases and on a display in the Career Services lobby.
Thank you for your support of UF law students, faculty and programs!
