Pascale Bishop Pascale Bishop
Assistant Dean of Career Development

Pascale has significant experience in both law career services and the practice of law. Prior to joining the UF Levin College of Law, Pascale served as Director of Career Services at Chicago-Kent College of Law and Associate Director of Career Services at The John Marshall Law School, both in Chicago, for a total of 5 years.

Before entering the career services arena, she practiced in the areas of litigation and international trade at both the Chicago and Washington, DC offices of McDermott Will & Emery and at Barnes & Thornburg, Chicago. She also previously served as Director of Legal Recruiting for the legal search company, Mestel and Company. Pascale graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, and cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.

Rob Birrenkott Rob Birrenkott
Director for Career Development


Rob oversees career education programs and administers the 1L initiatives including the 1L resume tutorial and shadow program. He serves as one of the primary career counselors to first-year students. Rob, who earned his B.A. in Government and World Affairs from the University of Tampa and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, is a member of the Florida Bar. He practiced law in Tampa with a focus on environmental (water resource), government and business law and has taught as an adjunct professor.

Christie Kelley Christie Kelley
Assistant Director for Career Development


Christie focuses on assisting students seeking postgraduate judicial clerkships and provides counseling to students interested in government or public interest careers. She oversees the pro bono, public interest, and community service programs. She also serves as the liaison with all diversity-based student groups.

Christie is a member of the Florida Bar. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, and graduated cum laude from the UF Levin College of Law. Prior to joining the Center for Career Development, Christie served as an Assistant State Attorney in Marion County for the past few years.

Lori Little Lori Little
Assistant Director for Career Development


Lori oversees the development and presentation of programs relevant to private practice and professionalism, including the coordination of events and panels to provide students with the opportunity to be heard and to meet with practicing attorneys. She also provides a series of workshops for students on drafting resumes and letters, interviewing skills and networking.

Lori is a member of the Florida Bar and a certified circuit-civil mediator. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Business Administration, and graduated cum laude from the UF Levin College of Law. Before joining the Center for Career Development, Lori worked as an associate for a firm representing insurance companies and businesses in workers' compensation cases.

Prior to joining the UF Levin College of Law, she started a general practice and mediation law firm, representing clients in contractual and business disputes. Lori also represented children as a Guardian Ad Litem attorney.

Karen Miller Karen Miller
Part-time Attorney-Advisor

Karen provides career counseling to graduating students and alumni as well as those interested in New York and Washington, D.C. opportunities. Karen graduated from New York University and New York Law School. She retired from the City of New York after thirty years of practice in consumer affairs and most recently served as a part-time career counselor for New York Law School.

Erica Connor Erica Connor
Tax LLM Career Counselor


Erica Peterson Connor possesses several years of experience in the legal sector. Most recently, Erica served as an Associate Director for Career Services at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Prior to her work in career services, she was a Senior Attorney Recruiter at Update Legal, a leading national legal placement company, and practiced law at a small firm in Chicago. Erica also served as a guardian ad litem in the Cook County Probate Division. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Michigan and graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Erica is a member of the Illinois Bar and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
