Linda Calvert Hanson Linda Calvert Hanson, Assistant Dean for Career Services, returned to her alma mater in 2003 after a varied career in the legal profession and academia. She was on faculty teaching civil law at the University of Florida and the University of Central Florida for ten years, practiced as a private civil law attorney and as General Counsel to a Florida Special District before returning to academia in administration. She served three years as Assistant Dean for Professional Development at Florida Coastal Law School before returning to the University of Florida.
Dean Calvert Hanson earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida and she is a member of the Florida Bar.

Jessie Howell Wallace Jessie Howell Wallace, Director for Career Services, administers the recruiting programs including on-campus interviews, all job fairs and employer diversity initiatives. Jessie also provides general and individual career counseling and she serves as the Administrative Advisor for the Virgil Hawkins Pre-Law Society. Jessie has prior law career services experience from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. Jessie received her B.S. from Northeastern University and her J.D. from the UF Levin College of Law and is a member of the Florida Bar.

Kristen Bryant Kristen Bryant, Assistant Director for Career Services, oversees the Small Firm Project, the Pro Bono and Community Service Project and she coordinates the Southeastern Law Placement Consortium (SELPC). She is the primary Public Interest Law counselor who also coordinates the Equal Justice Works Job Fair. Kristen, who earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from Loyola University College of Law New Orleans, is a member of the Louisiana Bar. She previously worked for several years as a Court Attorney for the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court in Harvey, Louisiana before relocating to Gainesville.

Jocelyn Ferguson Jocelyn Donahue, Assistant Director for Career Services, oversees career education programs and work shops and administers 1L initiatives including the 1L resume tutorial and shadow program. She serves as one of the primary career counselors to first-year students. Jocelyn, who earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, is a member of the North Carolina Bar and she previously was a litigator for Morris York Williams Surles & Barringer, LLP in Charlotte for three years before returning to Gainesville.

Annemarie Schuller Annemarie Schuller, Part-time Attorney-Advisor, provides career counseling to students and alumni with a focus on the LL.M. in Taxation and LL. M. In Comparative Law students. Annemarie graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and was a litigator for Jenner & Block, LLP, Chicago for four years. She also studied and worked in Germany for several years and participated in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps as a summer law clerk.

Wanda Chapman Wanda Chapman, Recruitment Coordinator, supports the recruiting program and assists employers, students and alumni as well as the Career Services professional staff. Wanda earned an Associates Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and she also has taken classes at Santa Fe Community College.

Kimm Tyson Kimm Tyson, Resource Coordinator, schedules appointments for the professional counselors, handles position listings, reciprocity requests and maintains the Career Resource Library. She also provides assistance to students, employers and alumni and helps the Career Services professional staff.
