Resume Books

The University of Florida Levin College of Law is now offering Resume Books to assist employers with hiring law clerks and entry-level attorneys. These books compile resumes of students and/or recent alumni who are seeking employment and fit certain hiring criteria. For example, UF is currently offering the following for its 2011 Graduates and current first, second and third year law students broken down by class year:

The Resume Books are provided to interested employers at no cost. The books can be sent to you in a paper or electronic format and we can narrow the above parameters to provide you with a more targeted pool of candidates if needed. You can review the books at your leisure and directly contact any candidates you wish to interview.

To request a specific Resume Book, simply call the Center for Career Development (CCD) at 352-273-0860 or email careers@law.ufl.edu.

Have immediate hiring needs?

Whether for law clerks or attorneys, the CCD also maintains an up-to-date online job postings database. To find out more about how to post a job with UF, please go to http://www.law.ufl.edu/career/employers/joblisting.shtml.

Registering with Symplicity

To register, first fill out a quick registration form on the Symplicity website (https://law-ufl-csm.symplicity.com/employers/). At the sign-in screen, click on the "Register" tab and provide the information requested. You will then receive a welcome e-mail message from the CCD with your log-in information which will allow you to post open positions and fill out your employer profile.

Already Registered?

If, after submitting your registration, you receive the message "The email address you entered already exists in the system. Please try again, or, if you have forgotten your password, try using the 'forgot password' function," it means you were already in our former job posting system and subsequently transferred to Symplicity. To log on, click the "Forgot Password" tab and enter your email address. You will be sent a new password. If you already have a profile listed with another law school that uses Symplicity, you may use the "autofill" feature to copy that information to our system.
