Mentor Programs

Alumni Mentor Program:
The Alumni mentor program matches interested students with a UF Law practitioner-mentor who acts as a liaison between the law school experience and the practice of law. They also can share their perspectives on different practice areas and geographic locations. Please submit the Student Application form to the Center for Career Services. Another resource is the voluntary on-line alumni directory.

Minority Mentor Program:
The University of Florida Levin College of Law proudly participates in the Florida Statewide Minority Mentor Program facilitated by John Kozyak and Detra Shaw-Wilder of Kozyak Tropin & Throckmorton, PA in Miami, Florida. It is the goal of the Minority Mentor Program to provide all first year minority law students with a mentor who will assist and guide them through the law school and the job search process. Each fall at the Annual Mentoring Picnic held in south Florida, students from all Florida law schools, mentors, sponsors and invited guests travel to meet, socialize and enjoy one another's presence. To sponsor this event, or to RSVP for this year's picnic, please visit http://kttlaw.com/picnic. For more information, contact the Center for Career Services for additional information.
