A skills emphasis: Costa Rica offers a natural laboratory for environmental law and policy skills training. Law and graduate students develop their skills through case studies, comparative research, simulations, issue-based field trips and service to the environmental community.
A cross-cultural classroom: The Program works with the University of Costa Rica and environmental law institutions in Costa Rica and throughout Latin America to bring together attorneys, scientists and students from the region. Classes are in English.
