This budget is not intended to be a definite on the expenditures in San Jose but a base line to give participants the basic costs of the program. Using this budget can provide participants with an average of expenditures; thus, a more realistic projection on actual costs of the program.

UCR Homestay Program, two meals per day included. (The Homestay program in Costa Rica helps the students find lodging with a Costa Rican family. The students interested in obtaining lodging through OAICE must send the sum of $75 non-reimbursable, to cover for administrative expenses.)
