Recreational Boating, Water Management and the Environment - A CLE Seminar

January 25th, 2002, Fort Myers, Florida

The Florida Bar's Environmental and Land Use Law Section, Florida Sea Grant, the West Coast Inland Navigation District and the University of Florida are co-sponsoring a seminar entitled Recreational Boating, Waterway Management and the Environment on Friday January 25th in at the Fort Myers Holiday Inn Riverwalk Resort and Marina. The day long seminar will feature discussions by attorneys, consultants, regulators and boating and environmental advocates concerning a range of issues including Manatee protection, inland waterway management, navigational dredging, local government harbor management, regulation of boating activities (including personal watercraft) and marina and dock siting. Special events include a luncheon discussion concerning the effect that normalization of relations with Cuba will have on boating in Florida and an issue-based sunset cruise on the Caloosahatchee River.
