Q: How do I apply to the LL.M. in Environmental and Land Use Law Program?

Q: When will applications be accepted to the LL.M. program?
A: Applications are now being accepted to begin in Fall 2009. Applications will continue to be accepted until May 31, 2009.
Q: Is the LL.M. program open to applicants who have not received their Juris Doctor or equivalent (LL.B.) degree?
A: No. The LL.M. program is only open to applicants who will have completed their J.D. degree before commencing the program.
Q: What are the requirements for award of the LL.M. in Environmental and Land Use Law?

Q: When will admissions decisions be made on applications to begin in Fall 2009?
A: Final decisions on applications for the Fall 2009 class will be made on a rolling basis.
Q: I received my J.D. or the equivalent thereof from a non-U.S. institution. Am I eligible to apply for the LL.M.?
A: No. The LL.M. Program in Environmental and Land Use Law was designed specifically for students already trained in U.S. law. However, students with law degrees from non-U.S. institutions can apply to UF’s LL.M. in Comparative Law Program, which is tailored to students trained in law outside the U.S.
