Tuition & Expenses

The 2009-10 semester per credit hour tuition/fee for entering law students is $474.25 for Florida residents and $1,119.74 for non-residents, as defined in the UF Undergraduate Catalog.

Though expenses vary, UF Law students can anticipate 2009-10 costs in addition to tuition of about $13,100.

Financial Aid
Most students qualify for Federal Direct Loans, which must be applied for annually using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Early application is encouraged to allow adequate processing time before the start of a term.  Private loans also may be available, based upon credit. 

Do not wait for your admissions acceptance to complete the FAFSA. Our school code is 001535.

Academic Common Market
The Academic Common Market allows a student to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program at a university in another state without having to pay out-of-state tuition if that program of study is not offered by the public institutions in the student’s home state.
