LAW 6111 - Criminal
Procedure: Police and Police Practices (3 credits)
Police as a social institution, including personnel, bureaucratic structure and incentives. Police practices such as arrest, search, seizure, wiretapping, eavesdropping, use of informers, entrapment, interrogations and lineups are covered. Credit for this course precludes credit for Criminal Procedure Survey (LAW 6930).
Prerequisites: None. -
Law 6502 - Constitutional
Law (2 or 3 credits)
Additional Constitutional law topics such as personal liberties and fundamental rights, the First Amendment, or the Fourteenth Amendment. Course coverage designated by instructor prior to registration.
Prerequisites: Constitutional Law (Law 5501). -
Law 6936 - International Financial Crimes, Terrorism and Organized Crimes
Seminar examination of governmental regulatory impact upon terrorism and organized crime assets.
