In the spotlight: Davis

Professor Jeffrey Davis spoke at a Continuing Legal Education seminar in Tampa last week on the new Florida Judgment Lien Law. He will speak on the same topic Sept. 29 to the Orange County Bankruptcy Bar and at the Annual Retreat of the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar in Sawgrass Oct. 26. Davis was chief drafter of the new law, and played an active role in the four-year legislative process. The law goes into effect Oct. 1.
