In the spotlight: Gordon

Chesterfield Smith Professor Michael Gordon was in Guatemala City and San Jose, Costa Rica, this month as part of an ABA delegation meeting with various government, legal and academic leaders — including the president of Costa Rica. He was made an honorary member of the Guatemalan Bar Association, and asked to advise Central American Trade ministers on identifying international conventions that each of five Central American nations should adopt to prepare for participation in a free trade agreement with the U.S.
