UF Law welcomes new financial aid director, CCD assistant director
Victoria Lawrence will assist law students with their financial aid and Jeremy Primosch joins UF Law as assistant director for career development.
With a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a minor in sociology, Lawrence worked in the restaurant business for 12 years and as a car salesperson for seven before coming to work for UF.
She worked in the financial aid office on UF’s main campus for just over two years and now joins UF Law as the financial aid director.
As director, Lawrence will help students obtain the financial resources so that they will be able to reach their educational goals.
When she isn’t helping students with their finances, she takes her two children to and from T-ball and gymnastics. In her free time, she and her family enjoy hiking, swimming in the springs and visiting waterfalls.
Her family members are Gator fans through and through. “[We] go to as many sporting events as we can!” Lawrence said.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, Primosch went on to graduate from Georgia State College of Law. A member of both the Florida and Georgia Bar, he practiced as a public defender in Atlanta. After moving to Gainesville with his family in 2012, Primosch practiced insurance defense with Eraclides Gelman.
As assistant director, Primosch will help 3Ls and recent graduates find jobs in the workplace. He will also help oversee and implement “Bridge to Practice” programs designed to help recent graduates transition into the workforce.
When he’s not working at UF Law, Primosch enjoys sports and is an active tennis player. The majority of his free time is spent with his wife, Jamie, and their 3-year-old daughter and 4-month-old son.
