Stephen C. O’Connell Chair; Affiliate Professor of Psychiatry; Adjunct Professor, University of South Florida Mental Health Institute; Associate Director, Center for Children and Families

  • The Florida Times-Union, Jan. 3. Quoted in an article discussing an appeals court that upheld a lower ruling for a former Jacksonville pastor charged with viewing child pornography on his church-owned computer. Slobogin said certain facts about Young's case may have made the appellate court more willing to come down on the side of privacy. "There is a substantial minority of courts that have gone this way, and the facts of this case are more favorable to the defendant than many of these workplace privacy cases," Slobogin said.
