Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair Oct. 6-7: The Place to be for Those Pursuing Public Interest Careers

The Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair will take place Oct. 6-7 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. This national career fair matches public interest employers with applicants.

Registration for the conference and career fair goes online starting Aug. 27, and closes Sept. 28. Students do not need to be registered to begin applying to individual employers. In fact, you should continuously be checking the rolling roster of employers who plan to attend and applying to them directly. Applications are being accepted by individual employer now through Sept. 14.

The roster of employers, along with all registration information, can be found at www.equaljusticeworks.org. Each employer has individual application instructions that you must follow. Click through the roster to see the breadth of employers who will be attending, and to get an idea of what types of organizations you can join to serve the public's interests.

There are currently more than 75 employers registered to attend this essential event. A small example of the types of employers who are accepting applications now for interviews at EJW includes Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE), Legal Aid Society of DC, New Hampshire Public Defender, U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Attorney Recruitment and Management, and United States Senate Legislative Counsel
