The Department of Justice (DOJ) will be on campus this week. You are invited to participate in a special presentation about the Honors Program and the Summer Law Intern Program. Jennifer Vozne, Counsel to the Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Tax Division, will discuss employment opportunities available at the Department of Justice for both interns and attorneys. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn more about how to start a career in the government, get valuable information about the application process, and make sure you know the upcoming deadlines.
Public Interest 411
For All Students (1Ls, 2Ls, and 3Ls)
Thursday, Aug. 30, 11 a.m., Bailey Courtroom
What is public interest work? How does one learn about opportunities to participate? Come join Sam Sarno from the Center for Career Services and learn all about the UF Law Public Interest and Community Service Projects. Being a part of the pro bono and community service projects allows students to truly contribute to their community and provide hands-on needed services to those who are traditionally under-served and under-represented. Do not miss out on this opportunity to learn how to give back to your community while polishing your developing legal skills. Additional information will also be given about public interest resources and the upcoming pivotal Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair.
