Networking Event with the Federal Bar Association
Sept. 26
5-7 p.m.
Gainesville
There is still room for students to sign up for The Annual Meeting of the Gainesville Area Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. This is a great way for you to meet and mingle with members of the federal judiciary and bar. The first meeting of the year will include comments by U.S. District Judge Stephen P. Mickle (pictured left). When you hear people talk about networking and meeting people as a necessary step in developing your career, this is exactly the kind of event they are talking about. This is a great opportunity for students interested in federal practice, clerking for a federal judge, or doing bankruptcy work. Advance sign up is mandatory through Career Services. Stop by the office and sign up now, as space is limited. You must sign up by Sept. 21 to be considered to attend this local event. If more students sign up than slots are available, names of selected participants will be randomly selected. Participants will be notified at the close of business on Sept. 21 of the location of the event.
