Reserve Your Space on the Bus of Minority Mentoring Picnic
For the second year in a row, Ruden McClosky will generously sponsor a bus for 55 UF Law students to attend the Fourth Annual Minority Mentoring Picnic in Hialeah, Florida. All minority students, including, but not limited to black, Hispanic, Caribbean, Asian, women, law students with disabilities, and gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and questioning students are invited to join all other Florida law schools at the picnic on Saturday, Oct. 27, at noon at Amelia Earhart Park, Hialeah, FL. All are welcome to attend and bring their families to this event being sponsored by a number of voluntary bar associations and law firms.
To register for the bus, sign up in Career Services. You must bring a $25 deposit (preferably check or money order) that will be refunded to the bus riders. Last year interested students were turned away because the bus overbooked. Your fully refundable deposit guarantees your space.
To RSVP for the picnic, visit http://kttlaw.com/picnic/.
If you have other questions about the picnic and/or transportation, contact UF Law's school representative, Jessie Howell Wallace, at howellje@law.ufl.edu.
