Career Services: Upcoming Programs for the Class of 2010

CCSThe staff at the Center for Career Services enjoyed meeting all of you at the 1L Open House last week. Remember, "Your Career Starts Here" with the CCS. If you were unable to attend the Open House, please make sure to stop by the CCS to pick up materials and sign up for Symplicity Training this week. You must have completed Symplicity training before you can meet individually with a counselor. We know many of you are looking forward to planning your 1L summer. By attending a Symplicity training and getting familiar with the resources CCS has to offer, you will be well on your way to developing your summer strategy. Get to know us now. It will help you in the future.

What Is Symplicity?
Symplicity is the online computer program the CCS uses to communicate with UF Law students. Symplicity is where you upload your resume, learn about upcoming programs, access the online job bank, and learn about on-campus employers. Before you meet with a counselor, you must complete a Symplicity training and sign a Policy & Procedures form (available at Symplicity training).

Nov. 6, 2 p.m., HOL 382
Nov. 7, noon, HOL 285C

Counselor Appointments
Are you interested in meeting with a counselor? Before you can make an appointment, we need two things from you. First, you must complete one of the Symplicity computer trainings. Make sure you sign up for and attend a training this week. The second requirement is a signed Policy & Procedures form. You can pick up and complete the form at your Symplicity training. We look forward to seeing you there!
