1920-1929

With its student base returned home from war, the “Roaring Twenties” in full swing, and an influx of new residents facilitated by Henry Flagler’s East Coast Railway, UF Law entered a period of significant expansion. The University of Florida and its law school enjoyed the state’s booming economy during a period of unprecedented growth. The boom went bust in 1925 and was soon followed by economic depression, during which time state funding for education froze.
