2000-2009
The decade of the 2000s witnessed phenomenal growth in UF Law faculty, research centers and facilities. UF Law facilities experienced construction of a new library and classroom space. In addition, faculty and student diversity was expanded and UF Law moved up in the rankings under deans Jon L. Mills (1999-2003) & Robert Jerry (2003 to present). The College of Law moved into the country’s top 20 public law schools and boasted a total enrollment of 1,300 students, nearly 17,000 alumni and was recognized as one of the nation’s most comprehensive, highly regarded public law schools in the country.
What has never changed throughout these many years from the “Original Faith Boys” of 1909-1910 to the current student body of 1,300 students is the journey of talented, passionate individuals who come to UF Law for a legal education and depart as ethical professionals with the skills to improve the lives of those they serve.
