Gregory B. Galloway

Gregory (Greg) Galloway has practiced in the field of Entertainment Law with an emphasis on Music, Film and Television representation since 1988. Galloway continues to represent select clients while focusing his energies as Executive Vice President/General Counsel of Ypartnership, a world-renowned travel and leisure-advertising agency. He also develops new television and film projects as Vice President Entertainment/General Counsel with IDEAS, a former Disney division that is now an independent studio in downtown Orlando. He served as production counsel and Co-Executive Producer of the feature film, "Bobby Jones Stroke Of Genius", Executive Producer of the IDEAS two-part television special, "Courage Colorado" for VS. (Outdoor Life Network) and is Creator/Executive Producer of the award-winning home video special, "Camp Tanglefoot" (Thomas Nelson Publishing).

Galloway's music clients have included multi- platinum Lava/Atlantic Recording Artists, "Matchbox 20", Atlantic Artists "Taproot", Michael Andrew's "Swingerhead" and "Madhouse". He has negotiated dozens of true story rights agreements, including the feature film rights to "Rosewood", the Warner Bros. Motion Picture directed by John Singleton and produced by Jon Peters and client "Gregory K.'s" celebrated parental divorce trial that became a CBS Television film. Galloway has been production counsel for such television programs as "The Mickey Mouse Club", "The Newz" and "Tarzan, The Epic Adventures", the feature films, "Sacred Seal", "The Falkland Man" and "Inconceivable". Galloway's current other clients include actor and stand up comedian, Michael Winslow, recording artists, Shanik Hughes, Before You Exit, Bracher Brown, Carly Jo Jackson, Chloe Robin, Jordan Kaufman, Sarah Sellers, and Camryn Wessner, and ESPN Radio Hosts: "Ace & The Doc", as well as Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.

Prior to joining IDEAS, Galloway co-founded the entertainment law firm of Galloway & Qualmann, P.A. and prior to that Galloway practiced in the Orlando office of Maguire, Voorhis & Wells. He is a past Chair of the Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section and is a founding member of the Orange County Bar Association Entertainment Law Committee, which he chaired from 1990-1992. He is a past president of the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyer's Section and a member of the Central Florida Film Council. Galloway obtained his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University, Boone, North Carolina in 1983 and received his law degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville, in 1986, where he was Chairman of Moot Court.

Galloway studied music in college, recorded professionally and produced stage productions. He is a frequent lecturer on entertainment law and the development and distribution of film and television programs. As a member of College Park Baptist Church, he leads the Praise Band, "G3".
