early next yearEarly Next Year:
In March 2007, powerpop quartet Early Next Year holed up in their Orlando, Florida home with producer Travis Adams (vocalist for the One Eleven Records band, Inkwell) to record their infectious debut LP entitled "Catch These Words", which was independently released July 3, 2007. They will be bringing their upbeat live show to numerous towns across Florida on their 2008 Tour.

Previously they had formed in 2003, spent 2004 playing shows around the Sunshine State, and 2005 saw the independent release of their well-received EP, "Sarcasm is Your Friend." Rather than focus on the past and what they have done, Wes Locher (vocals, guitar, moog), Doug McPherson (guitar), Bert Long (bass, vocals), and JoAnna Leitch (drums) are more focused on the future, and what they will do... have everyone singing along. Say hello to Early Next Year.

The band has played over one hundred shows across Florida, gaining fans and turning heads with their energetic live performance as well as sharing the stage with acts such as Gym Class Heroes (Fueled By Ramen), Between The Trees (Universal), Sound The Alarm (Geffen Records), Tyler Read (Immortal Records), Inkwell (One Eleven Records), The Fold (Tooth & Nail Records), Rory (One Eleven Records), & Damiera (Equal Vision Records).

native importsNative Imports:
iLLa: Bringing a very soulful vibe to the group, iLLa is greatly influenced by soul artists--Bobby Womack, Gil Scott Heron, Eddie Kendricks-- and legendary jazz artists such John Coltrane and Art Blakey. These influences are epitomized not only in iLLa's production, but within the content of his lyrics as well. They capture the struggles of man both within the physical world as well as from within.

Kimistry: Kimistry is a gem in an industry where emcees with true talent are few and far between. Her thoughts are penned onto the the page methodically and precisely. Each line is complex as the one before and hits the listener with a barrage of raw rhyme schemes. A perfectionist, Kimistry takes her time to make sure that her verses are meaningful with no filler.

SoCo: The connection between SoCo and his love for Hip Hop begins and ends with his ability to play with words. A plethora of literary devices mixed with witty punchlines cohesively reach a point that makes listeners have to rewind. SoCo's verses range from social commentary to egotistical quips. Though laid back in tone, he takes his writing and the culture seriously.

throughyouThrough You:
Deemed by many as a "band to watch," Orlando, Florida's THROUGH YOU was recently handpicked for inclusion Korn's Family Values Tour. Led by the soaring vocals of singer Mic. Kirland, guitarist/vocalist Billy Rufrano, bassist/vocalist Jeremy Morris, and guitarist Michael van den Berg combine forces with King, the band's prodigious 14 year-old barefoot drummer, to create surging guitar grooves, throbbing bass lines and hammering, ground-shaking beats. Kirland is a star in the making and a livewire on stage. Blessed with a four-octave vocal range, Kirkland draws from a melting pot of musical influences. His physical presence is equally powerful. Formerly a sky dive body-flight instructor, Kirkland brings countless hours of skydiving and wind tunnel experience to the stage in an acrobatic display that captivates a growing number of diehard fans. Climbing on equipment, springing high-jumps, gravity-defying back-flips and diving into the crowd are all in a day's work for Kirkland as THROUGH YOU sets out to hook the audience.

Chill Wizzard:
Chill Wizzard was born in the Spring of 2006 when Justin Jacobsen (Bass) and Eric Hope (Guitar/vocals) crossed paths during their first year at Levin College of Law. Justin was already playing with Dennis Dennisberg (Drums) when they decided to take a risk and bring Eric into the band. Ever since then, their sick jams never fail to impress even the snobbiest of music listeners. Chill Wizzard has played at many local venues and private functions. Chill Wizzard is loved and respected in the Gainesville music scene as a band that truly knows how to make magical rock sounds.
