2009 Commencement 2009 Commencement
The graduation of the Class of 2009 marked 100 years of UF Law. More than 400 Juris Doctor and Master of Laws candidates graduated. The ceremony was held in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on May 15.
Just Games
The Just Games fundraiser was held on Nov. 5 in the faculty dining room and student cafeteria. Faculty members signed up to play games ranging from Scategories and Chutes & Ladders. Those up to the challenge bid to beat their professors at their own game to raise money for the APIL fellowship.

The Chief Justice of the United States visited UF Law and judged the University of Florida Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Final Four Competition held at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Sept. 5.
UF Levin College of Law Commemorates Constitution Day
The University of Florida Levin College of Law celebrated Constitution Day on Sept. 17 by honoring the civil rights pioneers responsible for changing the course of history for minority students.

U. S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Sandra Day O'Connor spoke to hundreds of UF law alumni, students, faculty and staff on the UF law campus September 9, 2005 as the law school celebrated the dedication of newly renovated facilities.
Ginsburg Chesterfield Smith Ceremonial Classroom Dedication
Founder and chairman emeritus of the national law firm Holland & Knight, Chesterfield Smith (1917-2003) was one of the country's most prominent lawyers, and his name remains one of the most revered in national legal circles. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke at the dedication.
