Application Requirements and Forms

- Cover letter/letter of interest addressed to the Faculty Supervisor (unless otherwise stated in the position description)
- Resume
- Unofficial transcript (may be downloaded from ISIS)
- Writing sample (approximately 10-12 pages)
- Completed Externship Placement Preference Form (even if you are only applying for one externship)
All applicants must include an Externship Placement Preference Form when submitting application packets. The Placement Preference Form will allow us to place you in the externship of your highest ranking. This form also is used for a contact sheet, so please make certain that your contact information is complete. You are permitted to apply for up to 5 externships.
Some placements may require additional information and/or applications. Please check the placement description carefully to ensure that you include everything in your application. You are responsible for the inclusion of materials in your application packet. They will not be checked for completion before being sent to the field/faculty supervisors. Failure to submit complete information may disqualify you from consideration.
