Application Instructions

NOTE: Applicants must apply to both the University of Florida Office of Admissions AND the UF College of Law. You may apply online to the Admissions Office, but you also must print and mail a second copy of the application form along with the materials to the College of Law (address below). Be sure to keep a copy for your records.

Listed below are two options for applying to the LL.M. in Comparative Law Program.

Preferred Method

Apply online: This link will bring you to the Web site for the Office of Admissions of the University of Florida. With the online application, you will be assigned a student ID number, which must be written on all supporting documents sent to the University of Florida Admissions Office. Please note: This is the most expedient method of applying for admission.

  1. Click on "Graduate," select "Apply-New Applicant," then click "Continue."
  2. Begin to fill out the online application.
  3. When asked to "Select Degree," selec the category of "Mater's Degree."
  4. When asked to "Select a Program of Study," scroll down to "Law" and choose "Comparative Law."
  5. Continue to complete the online application.
  6. Send a copy of the application form and all supporting documents to the LL.M. Comparative Law Office, using regular mail or the express mail address listed below:
