Admission Requirements

The Florida/Cape Town program is designed to fulfill ABA requirements through a maximum of six credit hours. Any credit or grade for a summer program course is subject to determination by the participant’s institution. Admission is open to all graduate and law students, providing a letter of good standing from the applicant’s school is submitted with the application. For transfer of law credits, students engaging in foreign study must have completed their first full year, or its part-time equivalent, at an ABA-approved law school. In 2007, 19 participants from UF and 6 students from other ABA-approved Law Schools participated in the program.

Deadline: March 21, 2008.
Enrollment is limited to 30 students. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
