Admission Requirements
The Florida/Cape Town program is an ABA accredited 6 credit program. Any credit or grade for a summer program course is subject to determination by the participant’s institution. Admission is open to all graduate and law students, providing a letter of good standing from the applicant’s school is submitted with the application. For transfer of law credits, students engaging in foreign study must have completed their first full year, or its part-time equivalent, at an ABA-approved law school. In 2009, 22 participants from UF and 6 students from 6 other ABA-approved Law Schools participated in the program.
Deadline: There is still room in the program so we will continue to accept application packets and will admit qualified students on a rolling basis. Since applications will be reviewed as they are received, interested students should apply as soon as possible.
