UF Law Program in China
May 28—June 22, 2012
UF Law is pleased to offer a pilot summer study program in Beijing, China from May 28 to June 22, 2012. The program will provide UF Law students with an opportunity to study law in the heart of China, earn three law school credits, and obtain a first-hand experience with one of the most dynamic countries in the world.
Program Overview
The program offers two courses to be taught by UF Law Assistant Professor Wentong Zheng on the campus of Renmin University of China School of Law, one of the best law schools in China. In addition to the courses, the program will sponsor field trips to Chinese courts and law firms, as well as trips to major historical sites in Beijing. Depending on students’ demand, the program will sponsor extracurricular events for UF Law students and students from the host school. The program will also help UF Law students submit their resumes to international or Chinese law firms in Beijing for summer law clerk positions upon the completion of the program.
