Extracurricular Organizations
All Extracurricular organizations within the law school are the responsibility the Law College Council. The Law College Council funds and coordinates the activities of the law school's Extracurricular organizations.

Real Property Group
The Real Property Group provides a forum for students interested in real property — specifically real estate — to socialize and learn more about the field and career opportunities. It meets every two to three weeks, hosts guest speakers and coordinates social events.
South Asian Law Society
The purpose of SALS is to facilitate cultural integration and awareness within members of the South Asian legal community and beyond. The United Nations Statistics Division defines South Asia to consist of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Afghanistan and Iran. SALS aims to provide a community to students supporting South Asian participation and achievement in the legal arena. SALS hopes to promote an understanding of South Asian legal, political and social issues. SALS further aims to encourage and foster law student involvement in the local community.
Spanish American Law Students Association
SALSA provides support, resources and opportunities to Hispanic UF law students and educates others on Latin culture. Since 1975, SALSA has been the primary organization for Hispanic/ Latino students and hosts numerous events each year including October Hispanic Awareness Month, SangriaFest, and Lechon Tailgate. Members help in the community and have been formally recognized by Big Brothers and Big Sisters for their support. SALSA is also officially affiliated with the Hispanic National Bar Association. St. Thomas More Society
The primary purpose of this organization is to foster, as law students at Levin College of Law and members of the legal community, full integration of our Catholic faith into the daily practice and study of law. Members seek to emulate St. Thomas More, the patron saint of lawyers. Some of our activities include an annual Red Mass Retreats Lectures by Catholic lawyers and scholars on Catholic issues Service Projects emphasizing the corporal works of mercy.
Trusts and Estates Law Society
ETELS works with law students interested in estate planning, probate administration, probate litigation and elder law.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
VITA is a national organization overseen by the Internal Revenue Service. UF’s chapter helps lower-income taxpayers from the community complete their personal income tax forms. At the beginning of spring semester, VITA sets up a volunteer schedule to assist taxpayers through April 15. Volunteers gain practical experience in tax compliance while serving the community.
