President’s Welcome

Hello and welcome to the moot court web page.  Here you can find out everything there is to know about our team, our successes, and our plans for the future.  We strive every year to build a team of talented, hard working members who reflect the values that make our team nationally recognized.  We dedicate ourselves to developing and refining our advocacy skills and bringing awards home to the University of Florida.  Please browse through our site and find out why we are The Florida Moot Court team.

Moot Court News

The Blakely Advocacy Institute at the University of Houston ranked the Florida Moot Court team as 11th nationally for the team's outstanding performance in the 2010-2011 season. Read more in the October 24 issue of FlaLaw.

The Final Four and Alternate are joined by the following New General Board Members:

The Final Four is the culmination of the Florida Moot Court Team tryout process, where the top four tryout competitors display their excellent oral advocacy. In 2008, Chief Justice Roberts of the United States Supreme Court judged the Final Four. See the Gainesville Sun article below detailing the Chief Justice's visit.
