Born and raised in Ocala, Florida, Robert Davis went to the University of Florida where he received a B.A. in Political Science and a Bachelors of Health Science. After graduating from the University of Florida, Robert worked for the March of Dimes in Washington, DC before returning to attend law school. During his 1L summer, Robert served as an intern for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in Ocala. As a 2L, Robert was given the opportunity to argue before Chief Justice John Roberts during the Moot Court Final Four Competition. The following summer, Robert worked as a Summer Associate at Holland & Knight in Orlando, Florida and will be returning to that office as an associate after law school. Rob is looking forward to practicing in the area of Creditors’ Rights.
Ryan Eastmoore

Ryan Eastmoore is a third year law student at the University of Florida College of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Environmental Studies from UF in May 2007. While at the University of Florida, Ryan served as president of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and was active in Florida Blue Key. Ryan is a seventh-generation Floridian from Sarasota, Florida. She has had the privilege of interning for the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew, Federal District Judge for the Middle District of Florida, and more recently has worked as a summer associate in the Tampa office of Carlton Fields, PA.
Gustav Schmidt

Gustav Schmidt is from Albany, NY and a graduate of Boston University earning a B.A. in economics in 2002. Following graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and attended Navy Nuclear Power School and Prototype before joining the U.S.S. Santa Fe (SSN 763), a fast attack submarine homeported in Pearl Harbor, HI. Gustav was assigned as the Assistant Engineer Officer in-charge of approximately 70 people and of the safe operation and maintenance of the ship’s nuclear propulsion plant. While serving aboard the USS Santa Fe, Gustav participated in numerous missions vital to national security many of which were briefed at the presidential level. During his 5 years of active duty service, Gustav was awarded 14 medals for individual achievement and unit accomplishment. Gustav resigned from active duty in June of 2007 to attend law school at the University of Florida. During the 2008 Summer he worked as a legislative intern for Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) and participated in the University of Florida’s study abroad program in Montpellier, France. Last Summer, Gustav was a summer associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart P.A. where he begin his practice of law following graduation in the Corporate Practice Group.
Shelly Garg

Born and raised in South Florida, Shelly Garg graduated from the University of Miami in 2007 receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. This past summer, she worked as a law clerk for the Office of the Inspector General, National Science Foundation. In the summer of 2007, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Miami Dade County. Fascinated with international law, she has also served as a Graduate Fellow and Analyst for the US Central Intelligence Agency in the Spring of 2007, and Summer of 2006. She is interested in litigation, and loves the CANES!
Cary Aronovitz

Cary Aronovitz was born and raised in Miami, FL and attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with High Honors in History. Prior to law school, Aronovitz worked as a paralegal for the Department of Justice, Tax Division in Washington D.C. Aronovitz is interested in litigation and using his law degree for the betterment of his community.
Meghann Wolfe

Meghann Wolfe grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. As an undergraduate, she attended the University of Florida, where she majored in English and Political Science. She spent her lL summer working at the United States Attorney's Office, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where she developed an interest in criminal law. However, she is still undecided about what type of law she would like to practice upon graduation and is looking forward to exploring other areas of law.
Philip Moring

Philip Moring was born and raised in Ocala, FL. He attended the University of Central Florida where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in History and a minor in Religious Studies. Philip has competed in the Military Justice Competition at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, where his team placed second, and the Florida Bar Competition, where his team placed first after arguing in front of the Florida Supreme Court, and he was awarded the "Best Oral Advocate" award by Chief Justice Peggy A. Quince. Philip enjoys spending time with his best friend, Artie, a rescued French Bulldog/English Bulldog mix. Philip wants to pursue a career in litigation before or after completing a judicial clerkship.
Vincent Galluzzo

Vincent was born in Orlando, Fla., and has lived in the Orlando area for almost all of his life. As an undergrad, he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Computer Engineering in 2007. This past summer he worked at a small litigation firm in Orlando, Litchford & Christopher, P.A. Although Litchford & Christopher did not practice much Intellectual Property or Patent Law, he looked to use his undergraduate major to his advantage after law school by practicing Patent Law. School and work aside, Vincent has travelled extensively, within and without the United States. Being of Italian heritage, his two month stay in Florence in the summer of 2007 was the most memorable of all of his travels.

Kevin Combest grew up traveling around the world as part of an Army family. During his undergraduate education, Kevin scraped funds together by singing and playing guitar at Grog House and Gator City. After graduating with honors and a political science degree, Kevin moved to Washington, D.C. to write for Human Events. Here at Levin College of Law, Kevin is a member of the Business Law Journal and has received recognition on the Dean’s List.
Josh Landsman

Joshua Landsman is from Cooper City, Florida. He has a twin brother. Josh graduated from the University of Florida in 2003 cum laude with a Bachelors degree in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship. As an undergrad, Josh was the executive vice president of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity and placed second in the university’s Howard J. Leonhardt Annual Business Plan Competition. In 2007, Josh began law school at Nova Southeastern University where he was a member of Moot Court and was a Law Review Summer Candidate. As a member of the Florida Moot Court Team, Josh has placed 2nd overall at the 2009 Florida Bar National Tax Moot Court Competition and 1st Overall at the 2009 Robert Orseck Florida Bar Moot Court Competition.
Jessica Miles

Jessica Miles received her B.A. in Political Science and minored in Business at the University of Florida. She has also studied at the University of Ghana in West Africa and at a language school in Nice, France. After graduation, she taught English in Taiwan. During her 1L summer, Jessica served as an intern for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit in Viera, Florida. The following summer, Jessica worked as a Law Clerk at Dean, Ringers, Morgan & Lawton in Orlando, Florida and will be returning as an associate after law school. She is currently externing at the Florida Supreme Court in Tallahassee.
