The UF Distinguished Alumnus Award is presented to individuals who are UF alumni, who have excelled in his/her chosen field, or have performed outstanding service on behalf of the university.

The graduation of the Class of 2009 marked 100 years of UF Law. More than 400 Juris Doctor and Master of Laws candidates in the areas of comparative law, environmental and land use law, international taxation, taxation and Doctor of Juridical Science in Taxation. The commencement ceremony was held in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on May 15.

UF Law celebrated it’s centennial with an all-classes reunion the weekend of April 24 – April 26.

Heritage of LeadershipHeritage of Leadership 2009 Inductees

To permanently honor outstanding and notable alumni of the University of Florida Levin College of Law and their contributions to the state and University, the Law Center Association Board of Trustees established the Heritage of Leadership Recognition Society. The Selection Committee determined the initial classes of inductees, barring exceptional circumstances, would be honored posthumously.
