    Certificate in Family Law / Family Law Curriculum

    Law students may formally concentrate their studies in the area of family law and graduate with a specialization certificate in addition to their Juris Doctor degree. Listed in the Family Law Curriculum are all the courses related to family law, open to both certificate and non-certificate students.

    Child and Family Law Externships

    A wide range of unpaid family and child-related externships, including government, judicial or public interest settings gives students practical experience and course credit. Recent placements have included family court judges and masters, legal services, public defenders, sole practitioners and firms, and with governmental and public interest offices locally and in other Florida cities.

    Pro Bono and Community Service Opportunities

    Pro Bono Projects allow students to develop an awareness of their future ethical and professional responsiblities to gain practical work experience, build their resumes and network with attorneys while addressing legal needs of the under-served to their community through Pro Bono. Community Service Project is to help students develop an awareness of the issues and needspermeating their greater community.
