Degree Programs

UF Law offers six different degrees, including the nation’s first S.J.D. in taxation. The degrees range from the well-known J.D. to post-J.D. degrees, which offers students the ability to customize their law school experience.

Juris Doctor

The three-year Juris Doctor curriculum is designed to develop students’ analytical ability, practical knowledge, communications skills and an understanding of the codes of responsibility and ethics that are central to the practice of law.

Master of Studies in Law (MSL)

The Master of Studies in Law is a 30-credit graduate degree offered online and in person at UF Jacksonville. This degree is designed for working professionals who work adjacent to the law but do not intend to practice law.
