Competition Policy Initiative focuses on ‘NCAA Cartel’

The UF Competition Policy Initiative run by economics department chair and affiliate law professor Roger Blair as well as UF Research Foundation Professor of Law D. Daniel Sokol will host a conference on the “NCAA Cartel” on Friday, Feb. 24, with paper presentations from professors of law, sports management and economics.

The papers will appear in a special issue of the Review of Industrial Organization. The journal editor is Larry White of New York University Stern School of Business. The conference is sponsored by the Robert F. Lanzillotti Public Policy Research Center and will be held in Room 120 Hough Hall in the Warrington College of Business.
