Child Support Law and Policy (Seminar)

Course Number: LAW 6936 Credits: 2

This course is about the pragmatic operation of Title IV-D child support establishment, modification, and the steps for enforcement of each of these factors by the courts. As this is an information, knowledge and skills-based course, it is hoped that students will both learn and appreciate the interconnecting responsibilities that law, the courts, the public, as well as various Agencies play in trying to assure that all children receive the dignity and support due them. This seminar provides an opportunity to satisfy the Advanced Writing Requirement.
