Introduction to the Tax Treatment of Charitable Giving

This course provides an overview of the income, estate, and gift tax issues affecting charitable donations. Students will be introduced to various sophisticated forms of giving, including charitable lead trusts, charitable remainder trusts, pooled income funds, bargain sales, and charitable gift annuities.
