Using the vehicle of federal investigation and prosecution of white collar crime, explores interplay of different fields of law and the legal standards and administrative discretion-features common to many types of transactional practice. Materials considered will be chosen from substantive criminal law, criminal procedure, sentencing, administrative law, evidence, corporate law, and professional responsibility. Prerequisite: Evidence (prior or concurrent, or if not taken with approval of instructor); Police Practices recommended.
