About

Donna L. Eng is a Legal Skills Professor at UF Law, teaching first-year Legal Writing. Prior to joining UF Law, Professor Eng practiced at the firm of Mrachek, Fitzgerald, Rose, Konopka, Thomas & Weiss, P.A. in Stuart, Florida, handling a wide variety of appellate and civil litigation matters in State and Federal courts.  Professor Eng earned her Board Certification in Appellate Practice from the Florida Bar in 2015.  Prior to practicing at Mrachek Law, she practiced in the appellate group at Carlton Fields and in her own solo practice.  Professor Eng also served as a Law Clerk for nearly eight years to the Hon. James M. Hopkins, United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, an Assistant Attorney General (Criminal Appeals Division, West Palm Beach, Florida) and as an Assistant State Attorney (Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Broward County, Florida).
